Private: BUSINESS CALENDAR

The Small Business Committee meeting is scheduled for 7:45 to 9 a.m. at the Thomas G. Walton Building, 300 S. Providence Road. The purpose of the committee is to promote the growth, profitability and recognition of small businesses through Chamber educational programs. The Alternate Income Committee meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Walton Building. The committee’s purpose is to develop ideas and to organize one or more special events that will raise non-dues income.

The Chamber ambassadors will host a ground-breaking ceremony at 8 a.m. for the Columbia Fire Department’s Station No. 7 at Green Meadows Road and Bethel Street.
