SURVEY POLITICS, PRIORITIES DIFFERENT ABROAD When it comes to U.S. political diversity, small businesses owners here and abroad don’t see eye-to-eye. A survey of 600 small and medium business owners in the United States found 23 percent thought electing a female president would improve the nation’s image abroad and 33 percent thought electing a black president would do so. In Latin America, 42 percent of small business owners thought a U.S.

female president would improve our nation’s international image and 15 percent thought a black president would. In Canada, 52 percent thought a female president and 54 percent thought a black president would improve global opinion. The survey, by UPS, found the top political priorities for U.S.
